Education 2000 supports children and young people aged 6 to 17 years old.
We engage participants in a variety of activities and projects that will help them to achieve positive outcomes in their lives and increase their life chances.
We have existed for over 2 decades and many of our participants have progressed on to further and higher education, with many of them coming from disadvantaged and at-risk backgrounds.
​Latest project

We have developed a lifelong mentoring project which will work specifically with boys and young men who are most at risk of becoming involved in gang culture and face poor life-chances.
Our research has identified that African and African Caribbean boys and young men are most at risk of gang involvement and therefore this project will work with them predominantly but not exclusively.
Lifelong Mentoring is a new concept that we have created which involves trained volunteer mentors being matched with boys and young men, with focus placed on developing respectful and positive relationships, which will enable mentors to support and guide mentees to better outcomes.
